Back in the day, The Twilight Zone was the premier destination for (often creepy) sci-fi short stories on television. Then they remade it in the '80s with more great (arguably creepier) premises, alongside Tales from the Crypt.

Then, more recently, came Black Mirror. While it wasn't claiming to be Twilight Zone, the Anthology series format was pretty much the same, an updated take focusing more on near-future technology than airplane gremlins and time-stopping. It was even more disturbing because of A) relaxing standards over what can be shown on paid television (or streaming) and B) some of it seemed so plausible with the technology headed our way.

Amazon then produced Electric Dreams, an anthology of Philip K. Dick short stories. They're a mix of futurism and sci-fi tropes less unified in theme but mostly top quality.

In fact, they've remade Twilight Zone again. With all the sci-fi and sci-fi horror stories out there in TV-land, what premises have they missed (or messed up) that you'd like to see?

Personally, my top choice would be to see Arthur C. Clark's quote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" explored in a short film. I know it's been addressed in long-form sci-fi serials before. Star Trek: TNG covered it in "Devil's Due" (S4E13), and Babylon 5 had their technomages in "The Geometry of Shadows" (S2E3). But it's always been a concept I've loved. I'd like to see a take on it from a modern (21st Century Earth) perspective instead of the more advanced societies more easily able to either accept or debunk them.
